WorldSkills UK National competitions bring together the best young talent to battle it out in a bid to be the national champion in their skill.

Those with the highest scores could even be selected for a coveted place on Team UK, and the opportunity to compete for a place at WorldSkills Leipzig 2013 or a future international competition.

The competitions are managed in partnership with organisations from industry and education and have been developed in around 50 skills areas across five sectors.
